Social service
Being a section of the social work in health care, the social service is part of the concept of holistic treatment at the St Vincenz hospital.
Collaborating closely with nurses and doctors the social service functions as a contact point where your individual troubles during your stay are taken care of. Please contact us if you have any questions concerning the following:
- Initiation of rehabilitation measures
- Counsel with the application for welfare benefits
- Counsel with the application for services of health care funds
- Initiation and arrangement of inpatient care for old people, short-term as well as long-term care, and day care
- Care transition of patients in need of care into their domestic environment
- Counsel with the application for home health care accessories
- Counsel and placement with addicted patients
- Furthermore, the social service gives advice to all patients and their relatives who feel a need for an open and confiding conversation. It is our aim to accompany them in times of illness and recovery.
