Information for patients / Rules of the house
In order to make our patients' stay as comfortable as possible, there are certain rules of the house which should be obeyed in the interest of everybody. The rules of the house are available on any ward.
Some basics ex ante:
Rest periods:
Please keep in mind that there are a lot of bedridden patients in our hospital who cannot get up and are in need of quietude. You should therefore respect the common rest periods and avoid loud music or conversations in patients' rooms and on corridors.
Smoking:
Please keep in mind that smoking is not permitted anywhere in our hospital, except for the smokers' room on the ground floor.
Alcohol:
A hospital is definitely not the right place for drinking alcohol. Please keep in mind, also in the interest of your inpatient relatives or friends, that medicaments and alcohol do not go together. The ill body is particularly sensitive to alcohol. Furthermore, it might hamper the healing process.
Animals:
For hygienic reasons animals cannot be permitted in the hospital, the sole exception being guide dogs.
